Yeah, So I Lost My Way

I am going away today. I just need to regroup away from everything. The strength of my kids is amazing. I have nothing but grief. Yesterday, my anniversary (27 years) was marked by picking up my grandson,s remains and delivering them to my son. My son-in-law has now moved my anniversary to December.

Thanks to everyone who sent their prayers and well wishes, they are very much appreciated. If you wish to sign Collin’s online guest book it is here, just click. Or head on over to Funsize‘s place and prop them up with your love while I am away for a little bit. Also Nanny managed to put into words my feelings here.

Yesterday was our anniversary as well…! (Sadly, it was also the anniversary of Hubs dad dying, so we never celebrate either anymore).

I am here for you my friend, I am just a phone call away :).

  3. I am thinking of you, Vixen, and I love you. I love your family because you guys always are there for each other in good times and bad. This is rare and lovely and not many people have it. It blows my mind, the love you all show for each other and others.

We were planning our wedding (10 years next month) while my cousin, grandpa, great-aunt and numerous other people were dying. (Ten in one year, from Jan. 1 through Dec. 15th.) Finally I said, You got to take the sweet along with the bitter sometimes.

    I am undone by guilt.

  4. I’m thinking of you my friend.

    hugs, prayers and love

  5. So very sorry for your loss, Our prayers are with you all.

  6. God bless you and your family. I hope you find the peace you need.

Not knowing what to say has kept me from leaving a note up to this point. It finally dawned on me that I just need to let you know that you and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers.

  8. I have nothing profound to say, just want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts.

  9. Time is the great equalizer, Vix. It allows us to heal, but not forget. Much love to you and yours.

  10. You just take as much time as needed. Your loyal friends will be there to help and support you when ever you need them. I’m sorry for your loss, and can’t even comprehend what you must be going through. I’ll be thinking of you and yours.

  11. It’s pretty understandable that you’d loose your way at a time like this… I still don’t know what to say, but I’m here for you if you need!

  12. I’m WAY behind but doing my best to catch up. I’m sorry you’re having a difficult time. It’s good to give yourself time & space to grieve. Anniversaries can be ‘tricky’ … I’m glad your kids are strong. I suspect they get that from their Mom.
    Hugs and blessings,
