Tuesday Already?!?!?!
This week’s theme/prompt is: TAILS – List three things from any category
For more participants in Heads or Tails click HERE.
Three things I did over the Labor Day Weekend:
- Went shopping with Funsize to the fabric store (what can I say…she needed a ride and my car can drive itself there). While she was shopping I stumbled across the most adorable Charlie Brown Fall fabric and it had to be purchased. I am making an apron. Picture shall be available upon completion.
- Learned how to make Mojitos. Drank them.
- Tried to learn some Spanish from my non-English speaking neighbor (Little D’s mom. Little D is our intrepretor). I learned how to say 22 (the age my son will turn this month), “Where is Kayla” (because seriously where did she get to now), “Come here Kayla” (because she tends to hide), and “pink”, “red”, “blue” and “water balloon” (obviously we were hanging out with the kids). Watch out world. Now I can yell at you to come here in TWO languages.

I’ve only had mojitos from a bottle. It would be good to learn to make them, I think.
Ooh I bet the Charlie Brown fabric is great! I can’t wait for cooler weather.
You really should learn the important words silly. Like beer and bathroom.
I’ve never had a mojito but I’m the only one I know who hasn’t.
Nice post!!
Ah … the holiday weekend threw me off and I was rushed to get to my PSE6 class this morning … so I missed Heads or Tails this week at Small Reflections. I do like the way you shared about your weekend here today. I’ve never had a Mojito … don’t know what’s in them … but I’ve heard they’re delicious. I left some ‘goodies’ at Sacred Ruminations and participated in Ruby Tuesday at Small Reflections.
Hugs and blessings,
I didn’t know what a Mojita was either. I was thinking something like a burrito until I saw you drank it.
It’s nice that you’re learning a new language
I can’t wait to see the apron!
It sounds like a really great, non eventful(Praise God) few days. Keep that chin up. HUGS!
Totally sounds productive to me. Will you be sharing mojitos along with the apron pictures? Just checking.
