Lament Against Boxes

26 days left
I should get to packing up
My trick to moving
To keep sanity intact
Is to ignore it
Sounds like a bad plan
Didn’t work the last two times
Third time is the charm?

For more Haiku Friday visit A Mommy Story.

Sure I Like Predictable, But Do I Get It? Not so much.

I Was Kidnapped by Velociraptors

  1. πŸ˜€ That’s me smiling after reading your haiku. My daughter has the same approach to moving — ignore it, it’ll go away or someone else will do it. Have a great weekend — packing those boxes.

  2. Lee

I would rather take a beating than to pack for moving. The other day I was looking around at all of our junk thinking what a major pain it would be to get ready to move. I think I’ll put it in my will to just have the wake here. They can use a bulldozer to clear the junk after I’m gone.

  3. LOL–..I hate packing. πŸ˜›

  4. I feel your pain! I was lucky enough to have had surgery right before we moved, so I COULDN’T pack!

  5. The only way to treat packing for a move is really just to ignore it and hope someone does it for you. Great haiku.

  6. I’m with Lee-
    Bulldozer time!

  7. Great Haiku and I understand the procrastinating…

  8. Sending you lots of love and hugs

  9. Ugh, packing totally sucks. No other pretty or polite way to say it. Good luck.

  10. Oh my … moving is something I dread … always, but I enjoyed your Haiku ;–)
Sorry to be visiting so late this weekend. I did participate in HF on both blogs as usual but didn’t have much time to visit until today. I’m doing what I can to catch up.
    Hugs and blessings,

  11. Ha ha — “beautiful” haikues. . . I definitely feel your pain!

  12. haha! Good ones… Hope you got at least a little packed!

Don’t worry, I’ve discovered from experience that most things will not break if tossed haphazardly into a box at the last minute.
