“Show me a person who doesn’t like to laugh and I’ll show you a person with a toe tag.”

I don’t have a toe tag (yet), but I must confess to earning my slow poke award again

Both HoneyMommy AND A Mother’s Minute tagged me a long, long time ago.  Since this time it hasn’t taken me six months to play, I might be improving. My problem is coming up with 7 random/weird things at a time when I am, truthfully, quite stressed, overwhelmed and depressed. So here are 7 random things that have happened in the last week or so, mostly SUCKY.

  1. Someone broke into Bear’s car two nights in a row. We have a very, very good idea who (since he just ‘happened’ to be standing by the car both times-in the middle of the night). The second time the cops went and ‘interviewed’ him. The told him that if anything happened to the car again, they would assume it was him. The car has not been touched since. Coincidence?
  2. The city lady messed up the papers again and we did not close. Then she got sick for two days. Then for some reason once the papers finally arrived at the escrow office, they “didn’t fund” that day. Or the next. We have to be moved out by 5pm this Friday. And if we don’t close this week, the bank is going to put the house back on the market.
  3. Every day we do not close, I get a little bit more panicked. Never having had much anxiety, it took me an hour to realize yesterday that I was having a panic attack. Panic attacks suck.
  4. I took Vlad on another adventure, but I haven’t had time to post the pictures.
  5. For some reason, I keep breaking the needle on my sewing machine. Now is not the time for this. I broke so many last night, that I have to go buy some more tonight.
  6. It has been so hot here. They call it unseasonable. I call it unbearable. It should not be 95 at the end of October. Combined with the less than 10% humidity: my skin looks like an alligator.
  7. Did I mention we haven’t closed yet?

Oh that was just depressing. I am going to tag 7 people, as required by them thar rules up above, BUT I am gonna add a new rule: If said tags play, it better cheer me up! Yes, that is a direct order to:
Marlee, Funsize, Lisa, Eric, Lisa, Karen, and Lee.

  1. That totally sucks… I’m sorry!
I get panic attacks sometimes, so I know how bad it can be… I am sending good vibes your way in hopes that the closing happens today!

  2. I hd my first panic attack when I woke up aftr my recent boob job…not fun at all! I hope by the time you are reading this, you have closed on your house!

  3. had to laugh when I got to your site, because I’m here to tell you I’ve tagged you, but it’s almost the same as this one only it’s 7 things about you when you were a teenager. Kind of fun walking down memory lane.

  4. Bummer about not closing, I really hope it goes through for you today!!

Panick attacks totally do suck. I’ve had 2 and in the middle of both of them I was telling myself how ridiculous I was being. But even knowing the panic is unreasonable doesn’t stop the attack. The only thing that helped was removing myself from those situations.

OMG my skin is also in horrible condition!! I can’t seem to drink enough water or put on enough lotion, it SUCKS!!

  5. I cannot WAIT to see more pictures of Vlad!!!

  8. Sorry, it should read: all THE good vibes.
Have to learn to read my comments before submitting :o)

  9. It amazes me at how inefficient these things can be. An nobody even cares that it’s affecting your life. Like the bank. Why would they punish you when the paperwork debacle isn’t your fault. It’s amazing that these people act like they’ve never done this stuff before.

  10. Oh MY!! Panic attacks do indeed suck. Just think…it will all be over soon.

Here’s hoping it gets better for you soon!!

  11. About time!

Just kidding… tags can be hard to get to! I can’t believe you have broken your sewing maching needle so many times! That’s crazy… unless you are sewing leather or something. Definitely not adorable aprons!

  14. I love the title ;–)
I agree … coming up with ‘random things’ when one is stressed, overwhelmed, and depressed IS hard. I’m so sad to learn of your difficulties. Having had cars broken into previously, I relate to your frustration. I hope that ‘coincidence’ settles the matter once and for all. Was there damage that needs repair? I’m praying that you’ll ‘close’ in time. Thanks for not tagging me ;–)

  15. Hmmm … I guess Comment Luv is confused again. I’ve actually posted TWICE at Sacred Ruminations since SkyWatch/HF … and we DID get a little rain (though not enough to keep me from having to water the yard later). Such is life. It looks like it’s going to do SkyWatch/HF again so I switched to Small Reflections … just because ;–)
