Today I finished this custom apron that Julia from TAG ordered:
Another custom order from ApronFrenzy. If you want something very special and unique, let me know your thoughts and I will see what I can come up with. Just pretend you don’t notice my pasty, pale knees okay? I am currently working on a simply lovely custom order for Lisa at Life is Like a Box of Legos. But it’s not Legos. Surely now you are all dying of curiosity. Well, you will just have to wait and see.
So what do I do since I have no job? Besides prattle on incessantly about aprons? I am so glad you asked. Today the weather was just fabulous (about 78 degrees and sunny), so I began my work on the infamous heirloom seed garden. Given my naturally black green thumb, it is coming along terrifically. I know it’s only been a few hours, but I am already picturing a bountiful harvest in my head! You can see for yourself:
The first two are of my little seed-starting-mini-greenhouse thingamabob. Some of you may be saying, “Hey, shouldn’t she have started those seeds some time ago?” Yes. But I forgot. I was so busy being unemployed and bored, that I lost all track of time. I’ve learned to deal with it.
Next we have the corn patch. If you squint your eyes, tip your head at a 62 degree angle and hold your breath, you can see the little roots forming underground. Can’t you?
These boxes of dirt planters are full of basil and cilantro. Smell it? As time goes on, I will keep everyone updated on the miraculous growth of Vixen’s Super Garden
Now tell me, what did you do today?

Ohhh cool! I wanna start a garden this summer! I guess I should probably get started then, huh? I just kill everything I touch… All my roses died last year. *sniffs* Stupid black spot! I feel sorry for plants in my care…

Ooooo… I hope my garden is as pretty as yours. We have to build it, too! Hopefully we’ll get on that this week.

I planted a bunch of annuals and a few perennials today. I am praying to the gopher gods to keep them from sucking my little plants down into the underworld…
