Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeekWhat a great Thanksgiving we had together at MacDougal’s and Funsize‘s place. The food was perfect (if I do say so myself, and I do). Our host and hostess were grand and everyone had a good time. Besides cooking, I also created this pretty nifty centerpiece on the cheap! Just took by cupcake tin, threw a scrap of fabric over it, cored out some apples and stuck cheap tapers in them and the cut up an autumn bunch of flowers that were 70% off. It came out cute, don’t you think?

During the day there was laughing, coloring, masks, cooking, football viewing, and even some bike riding. In the end, we were just too stuffed to do anything but go to bed. Today I will make some of my Grandpa’s Famous Turkey Soup!
