So much of life, it seems to me, is determined by pure randomness

As I keep saying, I have a bunch of stuff to post about. But then I never get to it. So I have decided to just throw a bunch of it into one post with bullets. So be it.

  • I am going to be a Grandma again. Nannygoat is pregnant with her third. Due in September. A bit of a scare at the beginning, which I may or may not ever get around to posting about. In the meanwhile, it looks good now and we shall continue to perform the Snoopy Happy Dance.
  • I am getting a horse. I wasn’t going to write about it until he got here, but then it kept getting delayed and people took my money to transport him and then didn’t do it. Bottom line, an extremely wonderful and giving woman whom I met online (!go figure!) gave me a horse. Like as in gifted to me. A new transporter (who has more of my money, lol) is picking him up this Monday. He should be here by Saturday (the 26th) and there is all kinds of THRILLING EXCITEMENT in my heart.
  • I have health insurance. And tomorrow I am going to start using it to it’s fullest extent. There is some weird, not-normal stuff going on in my gut that is driving me insane and I can’t seem to function much after 2-3 in the afternoon. I mean serious exhaustion. Commence medical mystery solving at 9am tomorrow.
  • RolyPoly is starting to walk. I am still stymied as to how how he grew this fast.
  • It is almost March and I still want to post about Christmas and our post-Christmas trip to a cabin with snow. Maybe this year.
  • I am dog-sitting Ladybug’s dog again while they make their annual trek to visit Utah. So far I have managed not to paralyze him this time; however, he randomly started pooping while he walks. He doesn’t seem to know he is doing it. Sigh.
  • I am was learning to quilt. I want to finish it. And post about it. And share photos. I was going great and then…well see the medical mystery bullet above.
  • Oh and there is the awesome post about our Valentine’s Day cruise to share. If only it would write itself.
  • The more I bullets I create, the more I realize how much is missing from this journal of mine and I get really depressed that I didn’t share it immediately so as not to lose some of the thoughts and memories that I want to have memorialized here for myself.
  • I better quit with the bullets now. Happy Friday.

You aren’t nearly as far behind as I am. Hell, I’m not even sure I remember the password to log into my blog anymore.

I think you need to email me and explain a few of these bullets in a little more detail. You know which ones.

  2. Yay! Another baby! That’s awesome!

  3. Congrats! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that the medical mystery gets solved quickly!

  4. Congratulations! So exciting to have another new baby. Yay on getting the horse. I sure hope they can figure out your tired issues. Yay on good health insurance.

Congrats on the baby and the horse and the health insurance! Hope the health issues are minor and you’ll be able to enjoy your new horse! Pictures please.

  6. I hope your gut situation is easily sorted out so that you can fully enjoy all the pleasures coming your way!

  7. Congratulations on the new grandbaby! That is very exciting and I pray the pregnancy will go smoothly from here on out. Another congratulations on the new horse! I’m just sorry you had to go through such a bad experience first. I do hope you’ll share pictures of both!
I am learn to quilt also. I have been piecing for years, but only did some minor quilting on small projects (purses & bags). I took a machine quilting class back in November and am STILL trying to finish my first project. It’s not even big, it’s a table runner… you’d think I could at least finish that, right?!
Take time to relax, don’t worry about posting to your journal. If you look at mine, you’ll see you’re not alone!! 😀

  8. Congratulations! Sounds like you have a tonne going on and I completely understand the inability to find the time to post, especially if you’re not feeling well. Hope your medical mystery hunt doesn’t last too long and is easily rectified.
