Denizens (who?)

Welcome to Vixen’s Den! I am a 45-year-old wife, mother, and grandmother. The den is hidden in the hills just north of San Diego, California. You know: the Land of Milk and Honey, where milk and honey are too expensive for us to enjoy.

I spend my days working looking for work and my free time with family, on my laptop or crafting. I crochet, sew, embroider, cross stitch…I’ll try just about anything. I also take a lot of pictures (kind of an understatement). I am the matriarch of a large pack that includes:

  • Mr. Vixen (fabulous husband of 27 years). We have three lovely pups.
  • My oldest, Nannygoat is married to Lloyd and has two little girls; Ladybug and Butterball.
  • My middle, MacDougal (aka MacD), lives in wedded bliss with the lovely Funsize . They are watched over by our own little angel, Collin Michael. who received his wings on August 9, 2008.
  • My youngest girl, Bear, still dwells in the den with us. She is constantly attended to by her boyfriend, Fishboy.
  • We also adopt strays into the den and treat them like one of the pack. Some of the pups who are around all the time are: Sparkles is my “other” son; he and his girlfriend, Floozy, are usually along for the fun. The boy, Midget who for years lived in my son’s room under the laundry without me knowing, is currently in New York while attending Cornell. Masterchief (Nanny’s best friend since high school) and her husband, Frenchy, recently added to the brood with their daughter Jellybean. And, of course, the very musically talented Lightening Boy, has now returned to the area after a stint in the city of angels.
